Sex after 40 can be just as pleasurable and exciting as it was when you were in your twenties or thirties. I think that many people get the idea that when you reach forty and beyond, having sex becomes a thing of the past.
Men & women are also entering that "mid life" stage when menopause and mid-life crises start coming into the picture. A woman that feels she's not the woman she once was, or a man that's yearning for his younger years can put a damper on the sex life.

I'm no sex therapist and certainly don't claim to be. I just know that my sex life has not gotten worse and if anything, has gotten better since hitting 40. Getting older can be scary...but it shouldn't be.
